Research Information:

This is one of a group of tracings at BMAG illustrating and related to the story of 'Pygmalion and the Image' as retold from Ovid in William Morris' poem 'The Earthly Paradise'. The figure of Pygmalion differs slightly from that in 1927P618, and is in reverse.
