This design is also known as a stained glass panel of 3/4 length. There are version in the Vand A (C 323-323A - 1927), illustrated in A. Briggs, 1962, 'William Morris Selected Writings & Designs', pl .52 and 53. Accoringly to the Myers' text, in the summer of 1863, Burne-Jones charged Morris, Marshall Faulkner & Co £6 for, ' set of subjects for tiles Beauty and the Beast'.
